Nursery

Southwest has a variety of Children’s ministries beginning with our nursery. Our nursery is for children from infants to 4 years old. Our facilities are fully equipped and staffed by volunteers who are committed to your child’s well-being and growth. You can be confident that your child will be well taken care of.

At Southwest, we have a structured, graded Sunday School program on Sunday Mornings at 9:45am. Our classes will group your child with other children of the same age range. We would love for you and your child to join us and learn more about God and His Word!


Junior Church is held on Sunday mornings during the normal worship hour. This is a great place for kids to learn more about God and His Word, while having fun. Our teachers will work with them and teach them at their own level. Junior Church is for 4 years old up to 6th Grade.


Master Clubs is an exciting teaching program for children 4-years old through 6th grade. Each week, these kids are challenged to build Christ-like character traits like obedience, honesty, and respect.


Weekly Club Format

  • Rally Time - Short, high-spirited time to get started
  • Bible Time - Challenging Bible lesson
  • Book Time - Project Books inspired to help children serve God and apply His Word to their lives
  • Game Time - Time to run off extra energy and have some good, clean fun
  • Award Time - Announcements and award presentations

Teens

The teen ministry at Southwest is an exciting and vital part of our focus. We believe teenagers have great potential to be used by God, and their equipping for spiritual battle is our priority. This ministry is for students in 7th grade through high school. We meet every Sunday morning at 9:45am. We have monthly activities throughout the year and participate in the Baptist Youth Camp of the Ozarks (held at Sagmount Baptist Camp) in the summer. It would be our joy for your teenager to join us, and begin, or continue, their equipping for the cause of Christ.

Adults

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." ~ Matt 18:20

Our adult ministry centers on gathering as a community around the Word of God and living lives modeled after Christ. The goal of all adult ministries at Southwest Baptist is to help challenge participants to live out their faith while impacting others with the power and truth of the Gospel!

Van Ministry

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." ~ Matt 18:20

Church is important. That is why we offer free transportation services for anyone interested in attending our Sunday morning services. Our church van is ready to pick up any adult or child desiring to attend church. Children will be escorted to their classes and back to the van by responsible adults.
